Park West Health System has provided holistic healthcare and dental services for more than 45 years in Baltimore, MD through its physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, care coordinators and certified nurse midwives. This not-for-profit FTCA deemed health center provides treatment for the whole patient, organizing care and managing chronic diseases through a network of social workers and community health providers. Christina Kobeski, Pharm D., an employee of NuvemRx, came to Park West in May 2020 as their Pharmacy Director.

Upon arrival, Dr. Kobeski was able to support Park West’s goal of providing quality, comprehensive healthcare to community members. As an employee of NuvemRx, she proactively managed patient prescriptions and refills, took over Hepatitis C specialty medication approvals when Park West’s HCV clinical care coordinator left the organization, and went the extra mile to ensure patients received proper services efficiently and effectively.

PRIOR AUTHORIZATION SUPPORT AND MORE

Due to her knowledge of the pharmacy industry, Dr. Kobeski provided prior authorization support for complex specialty medications including Hepatitis C, acting as an asset for the organization. She was also able to coordinate a free delivery service for patients and engage in quality initiatives.
